AMTE Power Research Note

AMTE Power are an exciting ESG company that are developing a number of lithium and sodium-ion based battery cells with two products in final testing due to hit the market shortly.

I’m pleased to release my latest research note on AMTE Power. I first invested in the company at IPO which saw the share price rally to a high of around 320p. The shares today trade at just 165p which I put down to some initial seed money taking profit and a lack of PR despite the company having achieved a lot in their first year as a listed company.

light trails on highway at night

As my primary focus is on finding value plays where I see relevance and high growth potential, I’m not so much focused on where the share price is today but rather where I see it going and to that end have averaged my holding down ready for what I expect to be a key period of news flow and a value inflection point for the company.

I’ll not go into detail on what the company are doing in this blog as I have written a full research note that covers that but what I will say is I think this company will play a key role in helping the UK meets its green-energy initiatives with its likely foot-hold in providing multiple battery cell products that will service the automotive, aerospace, specialist power and energy storage markets.

With a couple of the cells about to go into commercial production and follow on products in the pipeline, coupled with the company having a number of additional project initiatives some backed by the UK Government, I think this could be one of the most talked about junior ESG companies in 2022 at a compelling valuation today of just £55m Market Cap.
